Dr. Preuss enjoys keeping up with the latest trends in foot and ankle surgery. In his free time, he is an avid runner. He follows strict dietary guidelines and exercises regularly to maintain his own personal fitness. He has completed over 30 mini marathons and one full marathon. As an athlete or someone who wants to start to maintain a healthy lifestyle, you want to consult a physician who values your desires. Being a runner himself, Dr. Preuss understands how to appropriately modify your training due to injuries or recovery. Once you are healed, Dr. Preuss has proven recommendations on how to avoid further injuries.
Dr. Anne Carole Preuss
Dr. Anne Carole Preuss is board-qualified in foot and ankle surgery with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is an associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Born and raised in Louisville, KY, Dr. Preuss attended Assumption High School and then went to college in Danville, KY at Centre College. At Centre College, she was a four year collegiate athlete playing lacrosse and earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. Following college, Dr. Preuss attended Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago, IL. After medical school, Dr. Preuss returned to Louisville to complete her surgical residency at Norton Healthcare where she received intensive training in foot and ankle surgery.
A lifelong goal of Dr. Anne Carole Preuss came to fruition in 2022 when she joined Preuss Podiatry. Getting to work alongside her mentor, her father, is a dream come true. Having been immersed in the world of foot and ankle surgery from a young age, Dr. Anne Carole learned the importance of putting patients first from her dad. She enjoys treating patients of all ages and abilities. As an athlete herself, she understands that injuries are often par for the course. She recognizes the demands of high level athletes and knows the pressure of returning to their sport. She will work hard to get you confidently back on your feet.
